We have all been hit hard by the isolation and fear a global pandemic brings, and none more so than our youth.
Performing Arts has proven health and mental health benefits ... none more so than the healing properties of connection to others and a sense of belonging.
Artzmartz programs and leadership initiatives nurture our youth and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.

News and Updates
Back on stage
To say it’s a celebration and a relief to see this wonderful show finally take to the stage would be an understatement. To see the culmination of almost a year’s work for cast, crew, creatives and volunteers is beyond words. To all the cast, crew, musicians and supporters who were unable to continue on the Spongebob journey beyond our April covid postponement, thank you for being part of the most ambitious project we have undertaken so far and we hope we get the opportunity to work with you again in the future.
“It takes a village” is a phrase you hear all the time when talking about the wellbeing of children. This production has quite literally taken an army. Our industry and community theatre friends have been instrumental in ensuring that every performance will be The Best Day Ever! The past few covid years have in many ways brought out the best in us, particularly in the Arts, Wellbeing and Community Sectors. We know now more than ever the importance of connection, lending a helping hand and digging deep to overcome all the barriers thrown in the way of achieving almost anything.
To those who joined us post April to get this show back on the road, we welcome, celebrate and thank you.

COVID -19 saw theatres around the world shut down as we grappled with the effects of the virus and the impact it would have on our lives. Artzmartz YPT was not alone in seeking new ways to keep young people engaged with their friends, their creative arts and their performing community.
